Welcome to Xu Li Lab at NC State University for Pennycress and Camelina research

We aim to accelerate domestication and to improve seed oil quantity and quality of biofuel, jet fuel, renewable energy species, Pennycress (Thlaspi arvense) and Camelina sativa, translating knowledge obtained from our Arabidopsis LMID (lignin modification induced dwarfism) studies at genetic, genomic and metabolomic levels.
